National Day is the most important and memorable day for any country. It is a day set aside for Qataris to celebrate their country’s rebirth. Qatar National Day, also known as Founder’s Day, is celebrated annually on December 18. The country has kept its traditions and history over time, thus it is worth celebrating. So, if you’ve started thinking about how to spend Qatar National Day in 2023, here’s a list of events to help you decide.
The activities will be hosted in Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal Mohammed, according to the Ministry of Culture. The event, which celebrates Qatar’s rich history and unique heritage, lasts nine days. Darb Al Saai is a permanent venue covering over 150,000 square metres that offers a great variety of activities for its visitors on a daily basis on Qatar National Day, such as camel riding and traditional folk games, in addition to receiving guests at the tent.
