National Day is the most important and memorable day for any country. It is a day set aside for Qataris to celebrate their country’s rebirth. Qatar National Day, also known as Founder’s Day, is celebrated annually on December 18. The country has kept its traditions and history over time, thus it is worth celebrating. So, if you’ve started thinking about how to spend Qatar National Day in 2023, here’s a list of events to help you decide.

7. National Day Celebrations at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal

The activities will be hosted in Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal Mohammed, according to the Ministry of Culture. The event, which celebrates Qatar’s rich history and unique heritage, lasts nine days. Darb Al Saai is a permanent venue covering over 150,000 square metres that offers a great variety of activities for its visitors on a daily basis on Qatar National Day, such as camel riding and traditional folk games, in addition to receiving guests at the tent.

6. Qatar National Day Activities at The Qatar National Library

5. Cultural and Traditional Events at Expo 2023 Doha

As part of the celebrations for Qatar National Day, Expo 2023 Doha will host cultural and traditional events such as painting the largest Qatari flag, pottery, pot painting, and embroidery on bags workshops, as well as many exciting shows and competitions.
