Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani donated QR100 million to the Palestine Duty campaign

According to a statement on Qatar TV during the campaign’s live broadcast , HH the Amir of the state of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani donated QR100 million to the Palestine Duty campaign on Monday evening to provide aid to the people of Palestine. 

The campaign was launched by The Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA)

The Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) started the campaign in collaboration with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and Qatar Charity, as well as Qatar Media Corporation (Qatar TV), to help those affected by the aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Donors responded passionately with many joining the drive live on Qatar TV and at the exclusive collecting spots in Souq Waqif, Katara, and Darb Al Saai.

 

Qataris donated more than QR200 million to the Palestine Duty campaign to provide relief to the Palestinian people 

During the campaign’s live broadcast, Qatar TV included dignitaries who appealed for donations. The broadcast kept the momentum by making regular announcements of individual and companies donations. Qataris contributed more over QR200 million to the Palestine Duty campaign to provide relief to the Palestinian people.

A generous individual contributed QR6 million to the campaign to help people of Palestine, while another provided QR1.7 million.

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) donated QR1.5 million, and Dukhan Bank, Doha Bank, and Al Ahli Bank each donated QR0.5 million.

QR1 million was donated by Barwa Real Estate Company and Ooredoo.
