English Footballer Henderson May Join Saudi Club After Attacking Qatar’s Human Rights Track Publicly Last Year

English footballer Jordan Henderson allegedly accepted an offer from the Saudi Arabian team Al Ettifaq, according to a rapidly emerging report.

In light of his negative comments on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, he is receiving pushback and is being accused of hypocrisy

Sports journalist Richard Keys took to Twitter to call out the player, who he believes is now doubling back on his earlier public attack of the World Cup last year

Henderson joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011 for £16 million, and has made 492 appearances for the club.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano asserts that Jurgen Klopp spoke with the captain of Liverpool FC on Thursday morning and gave the move the “green light.”

According to sources, Henderson has verbally agreed to a contract and will join Steven Gerrard’s team in the Middle East.

Earlier reports claimed Henderson had been offered a three-year deal worth approximately £700,000 per week in pay.

Henderson has apparently agreed the personal terms, but there are still two years left on his contract with the Reds, thus Al Ettifaq must now come to an agreement on a price with Liverpool.
