In fact, you were part of a massive movement. talabat Qatar just released the results of its 2026 ‘Share an Iftar’ campaign, and the numbers are absolutely staggering. From individual meal donations to a total fundraising goal that hit millions, the people of Qatar have proven once again that small actions truly lead to a massive impact.

1.5 million moments of giving

In Qatar alone, the community came together to deliver 1.5 million meals shared during the Holy Month. But it didn’t stop at food. The campaign raised approximately QR 1.45 million in donations, thanks to over 22,000 individual contributions from 6,000+ donors.

Across the entire region, that impact ballooned to 24 million meals and millions of euros in donations, proving that the spirit of giving knows no borders.

Simple clicks made serious impact

According to Francisco Miguel De Sousa, Managing Director of talabat Qatar, the beauty of the campaign lies in its simplicity. “What’s powerful is how small, individual actions can add up to something much bigger,” he shared. By making giving as easy as ordering a burger, talabat turned everyday app users into community heroes.

The funds raised have been funneled directly into local charities, ensuring that the support reached those who needed it most during Ramadan and Eid.

The campaign wasn’t just about the orders; it was about the people who delivered them.

In collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent Society, Hero Meals were shared and special Iftar events were hosted, all topped off by the ‘Double the Tips’ initiative to ensure that every gesture of appreciation from the community went twice as far for the people delivering it!
