Doha-born athlete Mariam Farid competed in the Women’s 400-meter hurdles event while representing her nation at the 17th World Athletics Championship in Doha in 2019.
She finished in her heat with a time of 1m 09.49s, a personal best, and gained notice abroad.
Her team singlet was tucked into a full-body black unitard. In 2016, she had previously raced in the 200m at the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, with a time of 30.25s in her heat.
