The guidelines allow vehicle decorations from 14 to 20 December 2025, giving you a full week to join the festivities. Whether you’re heading to work or celebrating on the weekend, there’s plenty of time to decorate. Just be sure to follow the rules to keep everything in line with the MOI’s guidelines.

Key restrictions for vehicle decoration

You can get creative with your decorations, but here are some key restrictions:

  1. No tinting or coloring windows: You can’t tint or color the front or rear windshields, or the driver and front passenger windows. This ensures safety and good visibility.
  2. Keep the vehicle’s original color: Your car must stay its original color. No repainting or altering the color.
  3. License plates must remain visible: Make sure your front and rear license plates are fully visible. Avoid covering them with stickers or decorations.
  4. Only National Day stickers: You can only use stickers that are related to National Day celebrations. Avoid anything unrelated or inappropriate.

You can still show your creativity while following the guidelines. Use flags, ribbons, and National Day-themed stickers to add color to your car. You can go as big or as small as you like, as long as it aligns with the official rules.

Why is this important?

The MOI aims to maintain road safety and public order while allowing for fun celebrations. Following these guidelines ensures a safe and exciting National Day. So, decorate your car, show your pride, and enjoy the festivities – just keep it within the rules!
