Netflix Is Going To Produce A Docuseries On The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022
The Qatar 2022 World Cup behind-the-scenes docuseries has received approval from Netflix.
Netflix will be releasing a docuseries on the FIFA Qatar World Cup 2022 this summer
In addition to approving the FIFA series, they also green lighted a Six Nations series that would have unique access to the rugby union championship.
They also announced that the World Cup production will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes video of all 32 teams competing in the tournament. While the latter will be released in 2024, the former is anticipated to make its debut this summer.
The news of a Netflix series set in Qatar for 2022 comes soon after Captains, a show produced in collaboration with FIFA+ that followed a group of international football team captains as they competed in World Cup qualifiers.
