Even as regular flights remain temporarily paused, Qatar Airways is stepping in to help travelers caught in the region’s travel disruptions.
Starting March 5, the airline announced it will begin operating a limited number of special relief flights aimed at helping passengers who have been stranded due to the current situation across the Gulf and surrounding regions.

Here’s where the first set of flights will be heading:
From Muscat:
London Heathrow Airport
Berlin
Copenhagen
Madrid
Rome
Amsterdam
From Riyadh:
Frankfurt
The airline has asked passengers not to head to the airport unless they receive an official notification confirming their flight.
Affected travelers will be contacted directly by Qatar Airways with their assigned flight details, travel arrangements, and instructions for the next steps.
Passengers are also encouraged to make sure their contact details are up to date so the airline can easily reach them with important information.
Full flight operations will restart once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms that Qatar’s airspace can safely reopen.
An update on the situation is expected March 6, as officials continue closely monitoring developments across the region.
For now, these relief flights are offering a much-needed lifeline for stranded passengers, bringing them one step closer to getting home.
