Qatar Airways Ranks Third Highest Rated Airline Of 2023
The 2023 Airline Index from the US-based luggage storage startup Bounce lists Qatar Airways as one of the top local and international carriers.
Qatar Airways’ is the world’s third favorite airline
On-time arrivals, in-flight entertainment, cancellation rates, the calibre of in-flight meals, and other factors were compared for 60 airlines on the list.
With a score of 7.50, Qatar Airways came in third overall, behind Singapore Airlines in second place with a score of 7.63 and Japan Airlines in first place with an 8.28.
Below are the top 10 based on Bounce’s 2023 Airlines Index and their scores:
- Japan Airlines – 8.28
- Singapore Airlines – 7.63
- Qatar Airways – 7.50
- Korean Air – 7.19
- Vistara – 6.43
- All Nippon Airways – 6.23
- Ethiopian Airlines – 5.99
- Air India – 5.40
- Azul Airlines – 5.25
- Emirates & Vietnam Airlines – 5.16
According to Bounce, Qatar Airways received a score of 4 out of 5 for its onboard cuisine, entertainment, seat comfort, and customer service.
The five-star airline also has one of the lowest cancellation rates (only 0.33%) and a rate of 77.51% for on-time arrivals.
