Qatar Announces Drop In Petrol Prices For February 2026
If you’ve been filling up your tank lately, there’s some good news rolling in from the pump! QatarEnergy has announced new fuel prices for February 2026, and overall, it’s a pleasant drop compared to January, meaning a little less pressure on your petrol budget this month.
Starting February 1, prices across all fuel types went down:

Premium petrol (91 octane) is now QR 1.80 per litre, down from QR 1.95 in January.

Super petrol (95 octane) fell to QR 1.85 per litre, compared with QR 2.00 last month.

Diesel is now QR 1.90 per litre, also lower than January’s QR 2.00.
That means drivers are seeing a solid price cut, especially for petrol grades, which makes monthly fuel costs a bit lighter. These new rates reflect changes in global oil markets and supply dynamics, which QatarEnergy tracks when setting monthly prices.
