Travelers arriving in Qatar from China, Hong Kong, and Macau will no longer be required to have a negative pre-travel COVID-19 PCR test result, according to a new announcement from the Ministry of Public Health.

Removing the PCR test requirement for travellers from China, Hong Kong, and Macau will end all COVID-19 travel restrictions in Qatar

The decision was reached following an improvement in the status of COVID-19 both locally and globally.

The Ministry of Public Health went on to urge the community to safeguard their health and monitor news updates on COVID-19 to stay informed about the latest measures.

Just last November, it was still mandatory for individuals to present the health status of the Ehteraz application when entering public and private healthcare facilities in Qatar.
