Qatar Foundation: Education City Stadium Is Now A Permanent Site For Eid Prayers

At the Education City Stadium today, thousands of people from all across the country gathered to participate in the Eid Al Adha prayers.

The attendance of the Eid Al Fitr prayer, where 18,000 worshippers were anticipated but the actual number exceeded 35,000, prompted the decision to perform the Eid Al Adha prayer in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadium as well.

Qatar Foundation has decided to make the stadium a permanent prayer site during Eid

The stadium, which is part of Qatar Foundation (QF), has just been designated as a permanent location for Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha prayers because it can accommodate a huge number of people while yet maintaining the greatest standards of security.

After the prayer, a variety of educational and entertaining activities—including face painting and games—were provided. There were also beverages and food available.
