Qatar Has Sent Another Aircraft Carrying Medical Aid To Sudan

A Qatari aircraft carrying 22 tons of medical aid arrived at Port Sudan Airport in the sisterly Republic of Sudan, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development and the Qatari Red Crescent Society.

The aircraft is the second of an air bridge allocated by Qatar to assist those affected by the current crisis in Sudan.

Simultaneously, 229 people holding Qatari residency were evacuated from Sudan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the evacuation of 229 individuals. 168 are Sudanese citizens holding Qatar residency and the other 61 are from other nationalities.
