Waseef is launching a concept called “Argentine Neighbourhood” for local workers

The new community, which is part of the Al Wakra District, has 6,780 residential units and can accommodate 67,392 workers.

According to Waseef, the newly constructed neighbourhood is outfitted with the most cutting-edge smart city technologies to offer cutting-edge solutions and services to various community segments.

The district, modelled after traditional Qatari architecture, was a key location for many fans of Argentina during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year.

The Argentine embassy in Qatar reports that between 35,000 and 40,000 fans travelled to watch Lionel Messi win the World Cup after years of squandered opportunities.

The group of people wearing blue and white shirts grew to be one of the biggest groups of foreign fans at the World Cup.

Argentina fans were given the FIFA Fan Award earlier this year in appreciation of their “passionate support they gave their team at Qatar 2022,” the footballing organisation stated at the time.
