Qatar Is Giving Out Scholarships To 500 Students From Disadvantaged Families

500 foreign students living in Qatar who come from low-income households will be eligible for scholarships from the Education Above All Foundation (EAA) from 2025 to 2026.

Qatar is choosing 500 expat youth to give out scholarships to nine different colleges

At a joyful iftar event to honour the graduates of the Qatar Scholarship Programme and the new winners, it was announced that the recipients of the Qatar Scholarship Programme from EAA will be able to finish their degrees at nine local colleges.

The EAA’s Qatar Scholarship Programme aims to provide access to higher education for young people between the ages of 17 and 25 who spent the majority of their formative years in Qatar.

Assistance is provided to recipients so they can complete their education at a variety of Qatari universities, including Qatar University, Al Rayyan International University College, UDST, and University of Calgary.

Since its launch in 2018, the Qatar Scholarship Programme has awarded more than 160 student scholarships.
