An agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached as a result of Qatar’s efforts to send medical supplies and other humanitarian help into the Gaza Strip in exchange for delivering the medication that Israeli captives in Gaza need
Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official spokesperson, stated that an agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached. In exchange for providing medicine that Israeli captives in Gaza need, medicine and other humanitarian aid will be sent to civilians in the Gaza Strip’s most affected and vulnerable areas. This agreement was mediated by Qatar, collaborating with the French Republic.

The humanitarian aid and medications will be transferred from Doha to Al Arish city in Egypt today
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official spokesperson clarified that the aid and medicine will leave from Doha to Al Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a sister country, today aboard two aircraft operated by the Qatari Armed Forces. This is in anticipation of their eventual delivery to the Gaza Strip.
Within the framework of Qatar’s efforts to put an end to the Gaza War, Dr. Al Ansari emphasized the need to keep collaborating with regional and international partners, especially in the areas of humanitarian concerns and medical evacuation.
