According to rumours from renowned writer Fabrizio Romano, Brazilian footballer Philippe Coutinho would be offered a way out of Aston Villa by a Qatari team.

Brazilian footballer Coutinho may be looking to Doha for his next contract

Since last year, Coutinho has struggled to find playing time at Villa, but he is reportedly interested in moves to Saudi Arabia and an unnamed Qatari team.

According to Romano’s report, “Coutinho has chances to leave in case of good proposal,” ahead of the summer transfer window’s closing on September 1st.

The 31-year-old has only appeared ten times for Villa under boss Unai Emery, starting twice.

The Brazilian’s performance with Barcelona, in which he captured his second La Liga championship, will live in the memory of Coutinho’s fans.

Before sustaining a knee injury that forced him to miss the rest of the season, Coutinho played 54 games in all competitions for Barcelona and scored 11 goals.
