The AFC Annual Awards are back in town, baby! After a four-year hiatus, the most prestigious awards in Asian football will be held in Doha, Qatar on October 31st.

Some of the biggest names in the game are nominated, including Qatar’s Almoez Ali, Saudi Arabia’s Salem Al Dawsari, and Australia’s Mathew Leckie.

Ali is a two-time AFC Player of the Year nominee and a key player for Qatar, while Al Dawsari is a veteran striker who has won everything there is to win with club and country. Leckie is a rising star who had a breakout season for Australia in 2022/23.

It’s going to be a close race for AFC Player of the Year, but whoever wins, it’s sure to be a deserving recipient. These guys are the best of the best in Asia, and they’re all vying for the ultimate individual accolade.
