Qatar’s Temperatures in March Set to Rise Mid-Month

Warmer days are coming! The Qatar Meteorology Department predicts a gradual temperature increase from mid-March, signaling a shift toward hotter weather.

This change will happen as the Sudan seasonal low deepens over the Arabian Peninsula. When it meets cut-off lows from Europe, it could cause some instability in the region. The department forecasts northwesterly winds throughout the month.

March temperatures in Qatar have varied widely. In 1998, the country recorded its highest March temperature at 39°C, while 1984 saw the lowest at 8.2°C. The average daily temperature for March is 21.9°C.

So, is winter officially over? The cool breeze might linger a little longer, but Doha is already warming up for spring!
