The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced that people withdrew more than QR 182 million from Eidiya ATMs during this year’s Eid Al Fitr celebrations.

As part of its seasonal initiative, QCB set up special ATMs that provided smaller cash denominations — QR 5, QR 10, QR 50, and QR 100 — to help families prepare Eidiya gifts with ease and convenience.

QCB placed the ATMs in 10 popular locations across Qatar, including:

• Place Vendome Mall

• Mall of Qatar

• Al Wakrah Old Souq

• Doha Festival City

• Al Hazm Mall

• West Walk

• Mirqab Mall

• Al Khor Mall

• Al Meera (Muaither)

• Al Meera (Al Thumama)

Now that Eid has passed, QCB has closed the Eidiya ATM service, but it clearly made a big impact. The service allowed people to stick to tradition while enjoying the ease of modern banking.

With QR 182 million in withdrawals, Eid 2025 brought both celebration and generosity to homes across the country.
