Remember Dave the Cat? The stray cat befriended the English football team during FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, making frequent appearances on their social media and becoming something of a regular fan during their team practice.

During the last leg of their time in Doha, English footballer Kyle Walker hinted that he may be taking their furry friend home with them to the UK if the team won, but since they went home empty-handed nobody knows what happened since!
Until now…
Apparently, the team followed through on their promise, and Dave was still given the chance to travel to the UK and was rehomed by the Football Association’s media operations manager Anna Bush and her family.
