Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has issued an Emiri decision today appointing Dr. Sultan Salmeen Saeed Al Mansouri as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the UAE.

Al Mansouri is the first Qatari ambassador to the UAE since the GCC crisis in 2017

Al Mansouri was appointed as an ambassador to the UAE by Sheikh Tamim in accordance with decision No. 57 of 2023.

Al Mansouri formerly represented Qatar as its ambassador to China and Austria.

The decision is effective starting from its date of issue and publication in the official gazette.
