The ‘Qatar Toy Festival’, a first for the country and the largest event of its kind in the area, will be held by Qatar Tourism in collaboration with Spacetoon.

The festival, themed “Live the Tales and Enjoy the Games,” will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) from July 13 through August 5, 2023. It will feature more than 25 of the biggest toy brands in the world, including Barbie, Blippi, Bluey, Cocomelon, Disney, HapeeCapee, Marvel, Fortnite, and Transformers.

Kids and families will get the chance to interact with interactive theme areas like a Barbie Dreamhouse and a life-sized Monopoly board over the 25-day event, meet some of their favourite characters, and buy some of the newest products from top global brands.

The Qatar Toy Festival will have four different areas, called islands:

  • Fancy Land – with Disney Princess, My Little Pony, Barbie and Hayati Girl, and a Fancy Land café, suitable for kids aged 4 to 12
  • Champions Land – with Nerf, Marvel, Transformers, Beybattle Burst, Free Fire, Hot Wheels, and Fortnite, suitable for ages 5 to 15
  • Cutie Pie – with Blippi, Cocomelon, The Smurfs, and Bluey, suitable for ages 2 to 6
  • Hyper Land – with Scrabble, Race, Monopoly, Angry Birds and Sonic the Hedgehog, suitable for kids aged 5 to 15

Over 15 live performances by artists such as Louna Land, Strawberry Shortcake, The Smurfs, Barney, Miraculous, Bluey, My Little Pony, and others will also be included during the event.

Rasha Rizk, the voice of Spacetoon, will perform at a special concert, and a variety of Arab celebrities and content producers will also take to the stage.
