Qatar’s population is soaring at a never seen before rate!
According to data published on the Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) website, Qatar’s population approached 3 million at the end of September.
A total population of 2,985,029 to be precise, was recorded in September 2022, the highest ever in Qatar.

A shocking increase rate
This growth represents a whopping a 1.6% monthly increase rate from 2,937,800 in August 2022.
In September of last year, Qatar had a population of 2,636,078. Meaning the country has seen a 13.23% increase rate in population since last year.
Note that these figures do not include Qatari nationals who do not reside in the country*
