The Shura Council, a government body in Qatar, recently expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces’ recent storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan

The council also condemned the assault on worshipers in the mosque and the prevention of their entry.

During the council’s weekly meeting on Monday, the council expressed that the continuation of Israeli violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque can only lead to more violence and that the timing of this recent attack was a clear provocation and a dangerous escalation by the Israeli forces.

The council has called on Islamic parliaments and councils to take immediate action by condemning these attacks, not standing idly by, and putting more pressure on Israel to prevent such attacks from happening again

The council stressed that it is the responsibility of the international community to prevent these assaults on Muslims and their sanctities. It also noted the importance of not neglecting the legal status of the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Overall, the Shura Council is taking a stance against the recent attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and calling for action from the international community. The council is also focusing on its legislative responsibilities and participation in global events.
