“Uber” Scams Are Increasing Daily In Qatar

Recently, people have been getting texts from scammers pretending to be Uber or Qatar Post. This has been going on for a long time, but scams in Qatar have increased majorly over the past few weeks, and the majority of the people living in Doha are starting to get annoyed (as they should)!

A website in a foreign language which translates to “the domain is currently expired”. The entire goal behind these phishing texts is to trick people into giving up their personal information such as their credit card details, so definitely be very careful of who you’re giving out any information to.
