Based on findings from the Central Food Laboratories of the Ministry, the contamination is brought on by the harmful bacteria listeria monocytogenes.
In order to remove the mushrooms from local markets, the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Municipality worked together.
The received shipments have been tracked and forwarded to laboratories for testing to determine the source of contamination.
The disposal or return of any packets of mushrooms that customers may have purchased has been advised.
Additionally, the ministry has advised customers to keep an eye out for any symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or a persistent fever, as well as any muscle discomfort or severe headaches, and in such circumstances, they should visit the closest medical facility for a checkup.
