Xavi Considers Qatar His “Second Home” Regardless Of The Criticisms

Farah Makhlouf

Xavier Hernández Creus, or as most of us know him, Xavi, a former Spanish professional football player turned manager sat down with Lovin Doha and answered our burning question regarding Qatar.

As we all know, Qatar was heavily scrutinised online before and during the World Cup so we asked Xavi, who used to be a resident of the country, if he missed it and if it’s still the same as when he left.

He said that every country has room for improvement but anyone who criticised Qatar from outside was truly able to see how well it did in organising such a huge event.

Xavi moved to Barcelona a year ago but still misses Qatar!

“I miss a lot Qatar because it’s like my second home” Xavi said

@lovin_doha Widely considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time, we sat down with Xavi to talk about his relationship Qatar and how much he misses being in Doha! @adidas #lovindoha ♬ original sound – Lovin Doha
