Qatar Airways is once again spreading its wings, relaunching its Doha-Osaka service in response to the gradual resurgence of the Asian travel market.

Operating on a daily basis, the airline’s flights will connect Doha’s Hamad International Airport to Kansai International Airport, offering travelers seamless access to Central and West Japan. The daily schedule is as follows:

  • QR802: Departure from DOH at 01:10, Arrival at KIX at 16:30
  • QR803: Departure from KIX at 18:00, Arrival at DOH at 00:05+1

The service will be operated by Qatar Airways’ state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, boasting 36 Business Class seats and 247 Economy Class seats. Kansai International Airport’s strategic location facilitates convenient access to prominent Japanese cities such as Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto.

Moreover, through its codeshare partnership with Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways extends domestic connectivity to 34 codeshare destinations within Japan. This collaboration enables seamless travel experiences for passengers, with Japan Airlines coding all Qatar Airways flights between Qatar and Japan, including Narita International Airport, Haneda Airport, and now Kansai International Airport.

With tickets now available for purchase through Qatar Airways’ official channels, including its website, passengers can take advantage of the airline’s stopover programs when connecting in Doha. This relaunched route not only enhances travel options between Doha and Japan but also facilitates smooth connections for passengers traveling from Europe and Africa, aligning with the growing interest and expansion in the Asian market.
