If you’re going to one of Qatar’s beaches this week, here are some little heads-up before you hit the sand! The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change just dropped a fresh list of do’s and don’ts for anyone spending time by the sea to keep Qatar’s beaches safe and peaceful for everyone.

Some things to keep in mind

Whether you’re going for a sunset stroll, a picnic with the gang, or just there to vibe with the waves, here are the ground rules:

  • Trash goes in the dust bins at all times.
  • No fires straight on the ground.
  • Avoid driving your car into the beach.
  • No bird-hunting at the beach.
  • Camp on permitted spots.
  • No horses allowed at the beach!

At the end of the day, it’s super simple – if you love the beach, enjoy it responsibly. So go ahead and swim, chill, snap your perfect golden hour pics… just do it responsibly. See you at the beach (but not with a car or a bonfire).
