At the Amiri Diwan, President Trump and Amir Sheikh Tamim discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and addressed pressing regional and international challenges, including the Russia-Ukraine war, ongoing negotiations with Iran, and the situation in Palestine. Both leaders emphasized the importance of achieving peace and stability in Palestine through dialogue and cooperation. During the visit, they signed several important agreements:
Qatar Airways agreed to purchase 210 aircraft from Boeing in a $96 billion deal, boosting Qatar’s aviation industry.
The two countries committed to enhanced defense cooperation through a formal statement.
Qatar accepted a letter of intent for procuring MQ-9B drones and FS-LIDS air defense systems.
They issued a joint declaration of cooperation to expand strategic coordination between their nations.

To celebrate the historic visit, Amir Sheikh Tamim and Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani hosted an opulent state banquet at Lusail Palace. Notably, India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, attended the event, greeting both President Trump and the Amir. Additionally, Ambani engaged in conversations with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Steve Lutnick during the exclusive dinner.
