Doha Metro and Lusail Tram Introduce Ramadan Weekly Pass for Seamless Transportation
In a bid to offer a hassle-free transportation experience during the holy month of Ramadan, the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram have launched the ‘Ramadan Weekly Pass’.
Priced at QAR 30, the pass provides unlimited rides and can be purchased from Travel Card vending machines at all stations throughout Ramadan.
The initiative aims to facilitate easy access to various Ramadan events hosted across Qatar, including the Throwback Food Festival, Ramadan Fair, and The Pearl Ramadan Bazaar.
With operational hours from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Fridays, the metro and tram services offer convenient transportation options for residents and visitors alike.
The introduction of the pass follows the announcement of extended Ramadan operation hours, ensuring commuters can navigate the city smoothly while avoiding pre and post-Iftar traffic congestion.
The initiative underscores the commitment of Doha Metro and Lusail Tram to provide a comfortable and efficient travel experience, with over 100 million riderships recorded since its inception in 2019.
