Eid Al-Adha 2025 Holidays Will Begin June 5!

It’s official! Qatar’s Eid Al-Adha holidays will kick off on Thursday, June 5! The Ministry of Awqaf just announced the sighting of the Dhul-Hijjah crescent, marking today as the first day of this holy month and Friday, June 6 as the first day of Eid Al-Adha.

How the holiday breaks down

  • Thursday, June 5 (9 Dhul Hijjah): Arafah Day

  • Friday, June 6 (10 Dhul Hijjah): First Day of Eid Al-Adha

  • Thursday to Monday (June 5–9): 5-day holiday for most!
