The vibes were high and the gowns were out at this year’s Qatar Foundation Convocation, held last night! It wasn’t just the grads feeling the excitement; with 1,049 students from eight QF universities turning their tassels and stepping into a new chapter, the Qatar National Convention Centre was alive with pride, joy, and a whole lot of glam. With H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and H.E. Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani there to celebrate the Class of 2025, the night felt even more special.

This year’s event was extra special: it celebrated 30 years of Qatar Foundation’s work in education, innovation and community-building. That’s three decades of empowering bright minds from around the world. The Class of 2025 is proudly carrying that legacy forward, representing 74 nationalities, with 61% of graduates being women. Sixteen standout students were awarded the prestigious QF Excellence Award for going above and beyond, with achievements ranging from AI-driven sustainability projects to virtual reality breakthroughs in healthcare.
But beyond the accolades, the ceremony was all about what’s ahead.
As graduates walked through the symbolic “Door to the Future,” the message was clear:
This is just the beginning.
From H.H. Sheikha Moza’s reflections on lifelong learning to the inspiring keynote by WHOOP founder Will Ahmed, the night left everyone feeling proud, energized, and hopeful for what’s next.
What would your message be to the Class of 2025?
