Were you affected by the Iranian missile interception in Qatar? If so, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has just shared some important news that you should know.

In response to falling debris from the interception of Iranian missiles over Qatar, the MoI, under the directives of the HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has officially announced that compensation will be provided to citizens and residents whose private property was damaged.

The properties to be compensated

That includes residential buildings, vehicles, industrial facilities, and commercial establishments — as long as the damage was previously reported through official security channels. If you haven’t submitted an official report yet, there’s still time but it’s limited.

How to submit a claim

If your property was affected and you haven’t filed a report yet, you have 2 days from the date of the announcement (July 13, 2025) to do so.

Here’s how to submit your request via the Metrash2 app:

1. Open the “Communicate with Us” section.

2. Tap on the “Requests” icon.

3. Select the designated compensation service.

4. Fill in the required details (location, description of damage, etc.)

5. Upload any images or documents (if available).

6. Confirm and submit.

Once submitted, the Civil Defence Council will reach out to eligible individuals to complete the compensation process in line with approved regulations.

Important to remember: No claims will be accepted after the deadline, so don’t wait till the last minute.
