Minister of International Cooperation Lolwah Al Khater took to X (formerly Twitter) to publicly mourn the tragic death of Palestinian journalist Hamza Dahdouh.
Al Khater had met with him as recently as November, calling him an honest journalist that is committed to the word of truth.
إلى جنات النعيم أيها… https://t.co/K1lzEsk2bI pic.twitter.com/WD4Rh13pXo

Al-Khater penned the late reporter an emotionally charged mourning statement, condemning the Zionist occupation and its atrocities against Palestinians.
English translation:
“Oh God, Hamza, what a heartache How can I console your father? How do I console your brothers? What do I tell them now? We were preparing to see you.. We promised you that Screw the brutal occupation machine, and screw everyone who contributed and agreed. To the gardens of bliss, you heroic martyr… To the gardens of bliss, you devout son to your father… To the gardens of bliss, you journalist loyal to the word of truth… May God accept you and may your blood continue to haunt your killers until the Day of Judgment.”
