Qatar Central Bank Launches Eidiya ATM Service for Eid Al Fitr Celebrations
In a bid to enhance convenience and foster joyous celebrations during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr festivities, Qatar Central Bank has announced the launch of its Eidiya ATM service, set to commence operations on 27 March 2024.
This innovative initiative aims to facilitate the tradition of giving Eidiya (Eid money) during the festive season. With the Eidiya ATM service, individuals can conveniently withdraw and distribute Eidiya to their loved ones, fostering the spirit of generosity and celebration during Eid.
The ATM allows you to withdraw cash in QR 5, QR 10, and QR 50 to QR 100 denominations.
The Eidiya ATM service, unveiled through the central bank’s social media channels, aims to streamline the age-old tradition of exchanging monetary gifts, known as “Eidiya,” during the joyous occasion of Eid Al Fitr. This innovative initiative underscores Qatar Central Bank’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the banking experience and facilitate cultural practices.
