Why it happened

The closure comes under Law No (8) of 1990, which is all about controlling human food and keeping it safe. MoPH’s Food Safety Department regularly visits markets to make sure everyone is following the rules – because nobody wants a dodgy snack, right?

Keeping Qatar safe

MoPH is making sure every meal the people buy meets top-notch safety standards. From your grocery run to a quick snack, its mission is simple: safe food for everyone in Qatar!
