The International Labour Organization Warns Of Scams Around Job Openings At Their Qatar Office

Avatar

The International Labour Organization (ILO), a United Nations organization, warned its followers of frauds using job openings at its Qatari branch.

Fake job openings at the ILO have been asking people to pay recruitment fees

The organisation was explicit that no roles were advertised at the time and that it does not accept WhatsApp applications.

Also, it recommended that electronic messages be ignored if they do not originate from the ILO website or the doha@ilo.org email address.

Also, the ILO issued a statement to the public emphasising that it does not charge fees at any point of the recruiting process, including the application, interview, processing, or training stages, and that any requests for them should be declined.

Also, the organisation urged the general public to contact their local law enforcement agencies and doha@ilo.org if they get any such questionable messages.
