Good news for parents flying out of Doha: Hamad International Airport has upgraded its e-gate system to include little travelers! Now, kids aged 7 and up (between 120–130 cm tall) can use the speedy electronic gates just like adults, cutting down on wait times and airport stress!

What you’ll need before you fly
Before heading to the airport, make sure your child meets the requirements:

Age 7 or older

Height between 120–130 cm

Valid passport or QID with a clear photo

Travel authorisation completed via the Metrash app
At the gate, let your child go through first while you follow behind – this keeps things safe and coordinated, especially during busy times.
