World-class swimmers will gather in Doha this November in another spectacular event the city will host.
Launched in 1988, the FINA Swimming World Cup is structured in clusters of countries within Europe, Asia and Middle East and takes place between September and November.
The kick-off this year was in Tokyo and the Games will conclude in Doha, Qatar on November 9th.
Jinan in China, Singapore, Budapest in Hungary, Berlin in Germany and Kazan in Russia are the places that complete the 2019 FINA list.
It’s really worth mentioning, that Doha has been hosting the Swimming World Cup games every year since 2012, while Jinan in China is the newest addition to the hosting cities.
Each city will host the Games for three days, before the ‘torch’ is passed on to the next one.
They will start with heats in the morning and end with finals in the evening in a 50m pool.
FINA Swimming World Cup gathers top swimmers from all over the world and Qatar is proudly represented by Abdulazizi Al Obaidli and Firas Al Saeedi.
The World Cup, one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year, will take place in Hamad Aquatic Centre, the largest swimming pool complex in Doha.
