Another day, another debate. And this time? It’s juicy and has stirred up quite a lot of talk about the realities of life in Qatar. Mainly regarding whether life can actually be super accessible for everyone, as the guys behind the Wise Guys in Qatar podcast certainly seem to have a thing or two to say about this.

So, what happened?

Recently, the group of British expats behind popular podcast, Wise Guys in Qatar, discussed how hard it actually is to live in Qatar if you don’t have a car. One even called it one of the “biggest cultural shocks” he’s had out of England.

As you can imagine, the people of Qatar had quite the reaction!

Some shared that same opinion, saying that work commutes can be especially nightmarish in Qatar without your own car. Others, however, mentioned that ride-share apps are widely available and are especially cheap to accommodate people.
