Ronaldo was reportedly pictured alongside his team as they travelled to Qatar, but he was notably absent in the photos that Al Nassr posted on social media.<\/p>\n
“Luis Castro, coach of Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia, preferred to give Cristiano Ronaldo a rest from the Al-Duhail match tomorrow, as the player suffers from fatigue,” Al Kass TV reported, according to a source.<\/p>\n
Ronaldo’s absence is a blow to Al Nassr, who are looking to build on their 4-3 win over Al-Duhail in the first leg of the match last month. Ronaldo scored two goals and provided an assist in that match.<\/p>\n
However, Ronaldo’s absence could also be a boost for Al-Duhail. The Qatari side will be eager to avenge their defeat in the first leg and will be looking to take advantage of Ronaldo’s absence.<\/p>\n
The match is scheduled to kick off at the Khalifa International Stadium at 7:00 PM on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
