Abandoning Your Car And Not Washing It Might Just Lead To AED3,000 Worth Of Fines
Cars that have been left abandoned on the streets of Abu Dhabi have been impounded and owners will be fined.
140 cars have been seized by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality after they have been left unattended for numerous weeks on the streets.
As a result, owners of the cars will be fined AED3,000 for leaving their vehicles neglected for long periods of time in residential and public areas.
The initiative behind the capturing of such vehicles is to maintain the city landscape as well as the environment by making sure community members keep their vehicles clean.

Alongside leaving your car abandoned, cars that have dust accumulated on them will be impounded and fined in accordance to Law No (2)2012.
The campaign is being encouraged as to educate the public on the negative impacts such actions can have on the community and our environment.
