After
the opening of the world’s largest indoor theme park this morning, IMG Worlds of Adventure, the city is ready for the official opening of Dubai Opera.
Dubai has given us the
world’s tallest building (Burj Khalifa), largest
mall (The Dubai Mall) and finest hotel (Burj Al Arab) and now it gives us
this stunning performing arts destination.
The inaugural of Dubai
Opera ticks another achievement for the city and reminds us that nothing is
impossible here.
The wait was long, but when you step inside you’ll realise it was well worth it!
Just posing outside the dhow-shaped building will give you envy-worthy Instagram pics. Trust us!
It’s next to the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. Plus, you have several hotels and restaurants in the area. What more can one ask for?
Architect Janus Rostock’s design allows the venue to be transformed from a theatre into a concert hall and a flat floor mode (making it an ideal event setting).
Depends how it’s being used, the venue can seat up to 2,000 people.
When open, the outlets will boast views of The Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa. We’re sold! However there are dining options available around Dubai Opera at the moment.
It is equipped with facilities for people with special needs and reduced mobility. They’ve ensured everyone who visits has an enjoyable experience. Extra points for that.
Some of them include…
Not just opera, ballet and classical music concerts and productions but also fashion shows, jazz, comedy and family shows will take place here.
Expect it to be nothing less than brilliant. Its a place where world-class talent meets exceptional entertainment productions. Plus, it’s a first for the city so it’s defo worth a visit (or two).
