For those of you who do the Dubai-Abu Dhabi commute on the regular: Are you getting tired of being stuck in traffic every morning and trying your hardest no to fall asleep enroute?

Well, according to the project executive Rodin Lyassof, of Airbus Group’s innovation unit, it’s not completely out of the question that soon there may just be an air-taxi to make the journey that little bit more convenient and that little bit more relaxing.

Plans of the flying taxi are currently underway with flight tests of the first vehicle prototypes hopefully being carried out by the end of next year.
