70 Amer centres are set to open up before the end of 2018, smart centres where residents can complete all visa and residency transactions.
The news was announced by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs on Saturday, following research into the old time-consuming process where mistakes were common.

Each centre, which in total will provide 1,000 news jobs for Emiratis, will be equipped with smart systems where Dubai nationals can apply for passport services, (new or renew) apply for entry permits and residence services for families.
Also, residents of Dubai can apply for entry permits, residence services for families and visitors can apply for on arrival visa extensions.
