Avatar

First it was Abdullah Sultan Al Aryani who gave the country its first silver in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle Standing.

Then came powerlifter Mohammed Khalif who gave the UAE its first gold when he lifted 220kg in the in the men’s powerlifting competition.

And now, Mohammed Al Hammed has given us another gold by winning the T34 800m wheelchair race in a Games record of 1 minute and 40.24 seconds.

Abdullah Sultan Al Aryani has reached three silvers so far and has become one of UAE’s most successful athletes
