Imagine Jamaican fare and a glass of Ting (the island’s popular grapefruit soda) against the backdrop of reggae and old-school ska tunes. Sounds exciting? If yes, mark your diary. Caribbean restaurant Miss Lily’s, from New York, is set to open on 18 July.
The beach shack-meets-Jamaican diner at Sheraton Grand Hotel Dubai will feature a dining room, as well as a bar and a lounge area. We hear there will also be a private chef’s table which can accommodate up to 16 diners.
Heading the kitchen will be chef Adam Schop. His menu includes dishes such as signature jerk chicken, king crab with scotch bonnet sauce, Jamaican pepper rib-eye steak and fusion items such as jerk ramen. We can’t wait to try this place!
